"Paradise Falls"

My inspiration for creating "Paradise Falls" came from photos I took while driving the famous Road To Hana on the beautiful Hawaiian Island of Maui.

This waterfall is part of the "Pools of 'Ohe'o", better known as the "Seven Sacred Pools" ---made up of seven natural rock formation pools, connected by cascading waterfalls of varying heights. This area is absolutely gorgeous!!

Visitors who are in good physical condition, and brave enough... can climb trails leading to the pools and enjoy a memorable dip in the cool mountain runoff water.

The surrounding area is part of the Haleakala National Park. The park abounds in exotic native plants, birds and other wildlife. ---Wildlife, mostly being vacationing visitors.

Doug Kreuger, Landscape Artist Member of Oil Painters of America Doug was born in, Aberdeen, South Dakota, and grew up in Hazel Crest, Illinois. From early childhood, Doug demonstrated a strong interest in drawing, painting, and building things.
